PDO THREADS

• Polydioxanone Threads, also known as PDO threads, are dissolvable sutures. These threads are placed under your skin to rejuvenate your skin by increasing collagen production, increase cell metabolism, and induce skin regeneration. The threads dissolve over time and do not migrate. In addition to stimulating skin rejuvenation, threads can also provide a lift to sagging skin.

• How are the threads placed?

After your consultation where we discuss your desired outcome and full assessment of your face, your face will be thoroughly cleansed prior to injection. A layer of topical lidocaine will be applied prior to injection to minimize discomfort. Each thread is placed individually with minimal bleeding. There are minimal restrictions afterward, including no activity that will apply pressure to treated area, such as massage, but you may return to most daily activities immediately.

• When will I see result?

Collagen production and skin regeneration takes time; therefore, you will not see immediate results. Over the next 3 months, you will start to notice an improvement in your skin color and appearance. This It is recommended to repeat this about once a year to keep up with skin rejuvenation.
